Driving home from work, went over train tracks and heard a pop from the passenger air bag. It did not deploy all the way, just came open. I looked online for a recall and although its very common, there wasn't one. It's a plastic peice that let go and it needs complete replacement.

While driving down the road, 30mph, driver side head rest deployed, hitting me in the back of the head.

In August 2025, the front passenger Active Head Restraint (AHR) experienced a sudden mechanical failure and deployed unexpectedly. I immediately contacted my local Chrysler dealership, where a replacement headrest was ordered. The part was placed on an indefinite backorder with no estimated time of arrival (ETA). I found the headrest exploded on the driver side when I got in the car in the morning. Apparently, this is common as I found it on the Internet while looking for a solution. Looks like a plastic part inside the headrest broke. AHR system inadvertently activated it seems. I’m glad I wasn’t in the car and it didn’t hit my head.

While parked, the headrest on the driver side exploded causing my head to be forced forward abruptly and painfully. There was no warning before this happened. Had I been driving, I may have crashed and caused injury to myself and others.

The transmission vehicle just stopped in the road. Causing road blockage and stranded passengers in the with out cell service. Vehicle has been looked at and this same problem that is listed for the recall but this vin isn't listed in the recall.

dash lights do not come on, the turn signals do not operate the horn does not sound. There's no display for speedometer or tachometer or odometer no reading for anything.

I am submitting this letter to formally express my serious concern and dissatisfaction regarding a safety issue that occurred and that, under only slightly different circumstances, could have resulted in a far more dangerous outcome. The situation I experienced was not only unacceptable but indicative of a potential systemic failure that warrants immediate investigation. The contact owns a 2010 Chrysler Town & Country. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle unexpectedly lost motive power.
